Current Range Summary

CRT Monitors:
JVC will continue to develop and manufacture professional CRT monitors. JVC prides itself on the quality of image and the product reliability which have won it a large user base, in HD as in SD.

LCD Displays:
A 40" TFT professional HD display heads up the proven dual role PC and Video displays. With sizes of 15", 17" and 19" and a choice of robust, square metal frames or lighter ABS frames, these smaller size LCD monitors lead the way in high speed source switching and lock-up.

DT-V Range of Monitors:
With the new 10" DT-V monitor, model DT-V100CG, JVC expands its range of cost-effective professional CRT monitors, targeting high-end users whose requirement is to monitor video accurately, flexibly and affordably. Like its larger 17" range partner, it will handle serial digital HD and SD, 16:9 and 4:3 formats, and also analogue, if required.

History

The establishment of JVC's range of professional monitors is mirrored by the company's leadership in the development of the television itself.

In 1925, when Dr. Kenjiro Takayanagi first displayed Japanese characters on a CRT, he laid the foundations for a development approach that is stronger today than ever before. JVC launched its first colour television in 1960, the forerunner of today's state-of-the-art monitors.

Today JVC offer a range of monitoring solutions including CRT monitors, LCD, Plasma displays, and front and rear Projection systems such as the Command Wall system.
