RoHS
As regards the European Community's legal requirements in respect of the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment:
JVC Professional Europe Limited wishes to confirm that from 1st July
2006 all JVC branded products brought into the European Community by JVC Professional for use within the EC have been manufactured in compliance with EU Directive
2002 / 95 / EC and its amendments, inasmuch as these products contain lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE at
concentrations <0.1% by weight and cadmium at concentrations <0.01% by weight in all homogenous materials except where exempt from Directive 2002 / 95 / EC
(RoHS) and its amendments.
JVC Professional is pleased to make available on this page of its website a general declaration of RoHS conformity, in pdf form in several European languages, as per the attached pdf files in the bottom.
This general declaration is intended to cover all requirements.
However, where an individual certificate of RoHS conformity (Declaration of Conformity) is required by a user for a specific model of JVC Professional equipment, then JVC Professional is able to provide this, upon request via the appointed JVC Professional dealer or other official seller of the equipment in question. The individual product declarations of conformity are available only in the English language.
Please also note that in respect of the third party products which are not RoHS exempt and which JVC Professional regularly distributes within the EC, JVC Professional will supply a copy of the manufacturer's Declaration of RoHS Conformity upon request. In respect of other third party products which JVC Professional may only occasionally distribute, JVC Professional undertakes to request a copy of the manufacturer's own Declaration of RoHS Conformity when called upon to do so.
