IBC News interview

JVC Professional Europe is pleased to announce the success of its new solid state camcorders, the GY-HM700 and GY-HM100, at this year’s IBC show.

Held in Amsterdam, IBC attracts visitors and exhibitors from across the globe, and this year the show played host to over 45,000 people.

Both the GY-HM700 andGY-HM100 ProHD camcorders, which were used by IBC News to film footage throughout the duration of the show, incorporates JVC's Native File Recording technology that stores video in the ready-to-edit file format used by Apple's Final Cut Pro™ non-linear editing system. The ".mov" files created in the camera can be easily dragged onto the NLE timeline without conversion or rewrapping, saving time while keeping the recorded material first generation. There is no need to use an intermediate codec.

Our exclusive clip from IBC News contains an interview with JVC Professional Europe’s Vice President, Ian Scott, and provides an expert insight into how JVC’s innovations in technology are helping to shape the future of broadcasting media.
