Vandal protection quality from JVC
|The vandal resistant, V. NETWORKS series, has been tested by JVC to ensure
your security network can withstand excessive force without affecting camera performance. 
The VN-V225VPU camera – which features True – Day / Night Mech Filter, 1/3inch Progressive CCD Min., Illumination 0.1lx, Dual Streaming and VGA Resolution – is so strong it can endure the force of a golf club. On average, the dome cover can bear the force of approximately 60 Newton, which is beyond the full swing of a driver which is roughly 42 Newton.
After the test is performed three times, the cameras are then checked for normal working operation and for visible cover damage. The VN-V225VPU and X235VPU cameras have been tested at the height of 1 metre and can endure a 5kg hammer over 50j. The VN-V225U and X235U cameras can withstand a 5kg hammer, over 15j at the height of 0.3 metres.
