JVC has provided The Lightbox, a museum and gallery based in Woking, with fourteen TK-C215V4E cameras to improve surveillance and security within the borough.
The Lightbox, which opened in 2007, will be exhibiting a selection of Leonardo Da Vinci’s work between 4th August and 1st November. Marilyn Scott, Director of the museum, reveals why the installation of JVC cameras is so important to the exhibition.
“This will be the exhibition’s first showing in the UK that will include large scale models of Leonardo’s inventions, ranging from aeroplanes and helicopters to diving suits and robots,” Scott states. “JVC cameras provide us with a fantastic security system, which allows us to borrow priceless objects such as the Leonardo notebook and make sure they remain secure.”
The borough, which has used JVC cameras and equipment for the past ten years, installed the TK-C215V4E cameras because of their trust in the brand. “We opted for JVC equipment because of their quality, reliability, availability and JVC’s wonderful customer service,” comments Errol Moore, Security Projects Officer, Woking Council. “We’re installing the CCTV surveillance to help reduce the public’s fear of crime and to boost local tourism.”
